Overview:

• Follows production schedule to ensure trees receive adequate care as outlined by the Production Manager. 

• Performs general labor as needed. 

• Operates nursery equipment, forklift, and sprayer as needed. 

• Supervises work as authorized by Production Manager and performs some administrative tasks.

Here's what you'll do:
 

• Communicates daily tasks to production employees and ensures the tasks are being performed correctly

• Collecting and entering production data into PickTrace from production employees

• Ensuring employees are following all safety protocols

• Follow production schedule and supervise that it is being performed to the standards set

• Communicating any observations that need to be added to schedule to the Production Manager

• Performs spraying of chemicals and fertilizers as needed. 

Here's what you'll bring to the table:
 

• 3 - 5 years experience in farming operations

• Be able to lift 50 lbs. continuously and 100 lbs. on occasion

• Bilingual English/Spanish Required.

• If operating a company vehicle, a driver’s license must be possessed.

•  Ability to work independently while meeting standards set by the Supervisor

• Ability to work alone without close supervision. 

• Be in good physical condition to do continuous bending, stooping, and walking on a day-long basis.

• Have adequate leadership and communication skills to direct, schedule, and coordinate personnel and services. 
 

Pay Rate: $22.00-$24.00. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
